Get Away With Constant Fuel Prices’ Hike with Hybrid Cars

Article by Neepa Diwan

Extending the technical jargon of cars let me introduce the word ‘hybrid cars’. It is the combination of conventional internal combustion engine and an electric propulsion system. Thankfully, this combination gives it better performance combined with better fuel economy. This kind of fuel efficient transportation system comprises of hybrid cars, buses, trucks etc.

World’s largest car manufacturers, Toyota Motor Corporation, is proud to have included in their car family another new member known as Lexus Hybrid which comes under the category of luxury vehicle division. The first of their family (hybrids) were introduced in 2004. As per the stats, in 2009, Lexus sold more hybrid cars than the typical petroleum based.

Predicting the future, Takeshi Uchiyamada… Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Company has asserted that the company will be releasing six new hybrid vehicles by end of 2012. This will include four from Toyota and two from Lexus. Let us name one of those Lexus hybrids: 40-mpg-plus 2012 Lexus CT 200h sporty compact hybrid.

Driver magazine gives you all such news dealing with all the luxury car reviews . Introduced in 2010, the CT 200h is one of the latest petrol/electric hybrid cars. The next version would not be very different from the earlier one but it is tagged as 2012 CT 200h 5 door compact hatchback with front engine and front wheel drive engine layout. It has 1.8 litre VVT-14-cylinder which can generate up to 98 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque. When it is combined with electric generator, it has the capability to produce up to 134 horsepower and 270 nm of torque.

Such latest launched cars news are everyday news for driver magazines. If you are passionate about cars, you should not miss any of the news in market. The car I am talking about takes 4.1 litre of petrol in 100 kms of use. Just think about how much you can save.

You have the option to drive at either of the two combinations. This will vary the acceleration balance and fuel economy. If you are using electric engine, you need not charge it time and gain since it automatically charges itself when it starts. There are four power train modes involved i.e.

• Normal Mode : For purposes of daily driving• Eco and sports Mode: For purposes of High Economy• Sporty Driving• EV Mode: Allows the car to run at the speed of 28 mph per mile

Many such reviews are in for daily basis. Take a look at them and enlighten yourself each day.

You do know that those type of cars exist already right, the government has a big blanket over the whole topic because it would destroy our economy. The government probably “took care” of him.
